About this website
TechEduCareer (techeducareer.com) is an independent technology and careers blog offering articles and free online tools. We do not offer public user registration or visitor accounts. For privacy questions, contact info@techeducareer.com.
Information we process
When you visit, our hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser details, request timestamps and technical logs to operate and protect the site. We may use Google Analytics and other enabled site statistics services to understand visits and usage. If you email us, use a contact form, comment where available or submit a guest article, we process the information you provide to respond, moderate or evaluate your submission, and publish agreed author details.
Cookies and third parties
We use necessary cookies for site operation and may use optional analytics cookies. Our WPConsent banner offers Accept All, Reject and Preferences choices. You can also manage cookies through your browser. Our service providers may include Hostinger (hosting), Google (analytics and AI services), Automattic/Jetpack (enabled WordPress features) and form/email delivery services. Their processing depends on the features actually used. Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, subject to applicable safeguards.
Our free tools and MintPrep AI
Our browser-based image conversion, resizing and PDF merging features are designed to process selected files on your device rather than upload the file contents for conversion. Loading the tools still involves ordinary website requests.
MintPrep also includes an optional AI image-metadata feature using Google’s Gemini API. Public visitor access to this AI feature is currently disabled. When an authorized administrator uses it, the selected image and any optional keyword are sent through our server to Google to generate suggested ALT text, titles, captions, descriptions and filenames. This is not part of ordinary local image conversion. The current unpaid Gemini API tier may allow Google to use submitted content to improve services, including possible human review, under Google’s applicable terms. We recommend not submitting sensitive or confidential images. See Gemini API terms and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Retention and your rights
We retain information as needed for website operations, security, correspondence, contributions and applicable legal requirements; periods vary by purpose and provider. Depending on applicable law, including the GDPR, you may request access, correction or deletion of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email info@techeducareer.com with your request. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.
